the bulldogs suffered their first lose of the year. the edwardsburg pitcher was throwing gas and the bulldogs took a little while to catch up to it. the bulldogs were down 8 to 0 after three and played them evenly after that to lose 11 to 2. the bulldogs only got 5 hits while striking out 18 times. brinn carroll, ali janke, kennedy kinnane, kaylee vist and brenna meyer each had 1 hit. brenna meyer pitched well with little help from the defense. she gave up 11 runs but only 3 were earned runs as the bulldogs committed 7 errors in the game. brenna had 4 strikeouts, 3 walks and gave up 13 hits.
