Otsego opened up the season against a tough Hopkins team on Wednesday. The first game was a close defensive game and Bulldogs came up short and lost 3-2.
Game two of the double-header was close through four innings, then a few costly errors allowed Hopkins to take a solid lead. The Bulldogs ended up losing game two 13-5.
Hitting well today for Otsego...Madison Kinnane went 2-3, Abbey Deamud went 2-3, Katie Scheuer 2-4 with two doubles, Lexi Bower 3-7.
Defensively for Otsego...Kassie Laduke pitched all of game 1, Only allowed 4 hits and 1 earned run. Finished with a 1.17 ERA.
