TJ Morris didn't allow a single run as Otsego JV defeated Paw Paw 2-0 on Friday. Morris allowed just two hits and induced a fly out from Nate Ampey to end the game.
The pitching was strong on both sides. TJ Morris struck out four, while Juan Villanueva sat down five.
A single by Kennan Loehrs in the third inning was a positive for Paw Paw.
TJ Morris earned the win for Otsego. He pitched six innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, and striking out four. Villanueva took the loss for Paw Paw. He threw five innings, allowing two runs, six hits, and striking out five.
Nathan Barwegen went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Otsego in hits.
