Otsego JV Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Allegan

Otsego JV defeated Allegan 7-3 on Friday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Otsego Bulldogs JV batting in the top of the sixth when Daniel Weirick singled off of Jayden Smith, driving in one run.
Allegan knotted the game up at three in the bottom of the fifth inning. An error scored one run for Allegan.
Carter Morris earned the win for Otsego. He pitched five innings, allowing three runs, four hits, and striking out four. TJ Morris recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Otsego. Jayden Smith took the loss for Allegan. He went five and a third innings, allowing seven runs, six hits, and striking out six.
Morris, Jaxsen Callaway, and Daniel Weirick each drove in one run to lead Otsego.
