JV Soccer opened up their season with an excellent 2-0 victory over Wayland Union Thursday. Sophomore Bri Mathews opened the scoring 25 minutes into the first half, and fellow Sophomore Sabrina Powers put the game on ice 25 minutes into the second half.

The team was a bit short handed through injuries and other commitments, but played well and pulled through to take the victory. Emma Moore had four saves in goal for her first clean sheet of the year, and made some very nice interventions on crosses and long balls into her box to keep her team in the match.
