Otsego had just 12 players available for Monday's match at Edwardsburg. On the first warm day of the spring, and with a few girls already nursing injuries, the JV struggled to play the game the way they have been for the majority of the year. A change in team shape and tactics given the players who were missing proved a tough test for the team, and they eventually fell 4-2 on the day.

The team was disjointed from the start, and didn't seem ready for the pace of the Eddies. Without half of their usual starters along the back line it took quite awhile for the Dawgs to get things in order. Up front, Otsego had opportunities to get in behind and make Edwardsburg pay for some errors, but failed to do so because of a lack of anticipation and vision. These young attackers still need more experience before they really begin to recognize certain moments and capitalize on them.

Emma Moore had 6 saves in the match. Aleyca Morey scored the first goal for Otsego, and Raygen Meurer had the second. Sabrina Powers tallied the assist on Meurer's goal.
