The JV girls were in action to open the season at Wayland Union Thursday, and they did so in impressive fashion! Skills were on display, an attack-minded dominance was on display, and goals were the order of the day. Eight of them in just 57 minutes of play, to be exact!

Caraline Kitchen bagged one of her two goals on the day just 30 seconds in from the right side of the box. It was all Bulldogs from there, out-shooting the Wildcats 22-1. Lexus Putt, Sabrina Powers, Stacy Borovska, and Maddy Farmer all tallied goals in the first half of play with Farmer adding an assist. The second half saw more of the same as the Dawgs tallied goals through Kitchen, Hannah Klok, and Farmer (PK). The Klok goal was assisted by Ellie Sweet, and ended the match with 12:38 left on the clock. 

Emma Moore made one save in her first action at the high school level, and recorded her first clean sheet. The Bulldog back line wasn't tested often, but answered the bell when called upon. They also did an excellent job pushing up and supporting play. 

The girls face Harper Creek at home next Monday at 5pm.
